This 44-inch wide buffet is a standout piece of British Colonial craftsmanship, featuring a rare whitewashed teak frame. The architectural highlight is the set of four hand-painted reverse glass panels (known as Verre Églomisé) flanking the central doors. These panels depict vibrant, polychrome floral bouquets that provide a brilliant contrast to the soft, bleached patina of the wood. The cabinet features three top utility drawers with original brass shell-pull hardware and a two-door glass-front lower compartment for larger storage. Reverse glass painting was a highly specialized trade in 19th-century India, often used to decorate the homes of the wealthy and elite. By painting the motif on the back of the glass, the colors remain vivid and protected from the elements. This specific buffet combines that traditional artistry with the utilitarian "pantry" style of colonial-era furniture, making it a functional piece of art.

SHIPPING POLICY
We offer FREE shipping on all orders. There are 2 methods used for shipment and delivery which are delivered curb-side:
1. FOR MOST RANGE HOODS, SINKS, FAUCETS AND ACCESSORY PRODUCTS - FedEx Ground is used for delivery. FedEx will deliver the product and leave outside of premise only with out calling to arrange delivery.
2. FOR RANGES, COOKTOP, DROP-INS, DISHWASHERS AND REFRIGERATORS - FedEx Freight is used for delivery. FedEx will call to arrange a specific delivery time and you will have to arrange to be at the ship to address to accept the product. FedEx will not deliver the product in the premise.
We do not ship to PO Boxes.
Fedex Freight delivers the product curb-side only and arrangements to move the product inside the premise will have to be made by the customer.
Full insurance is included in all shipments.
Tracking number(s) will be provided by the email supplied 1-2 business days* after the date of the order is placed and after which:
- Items shipped FedEx Ground will take 2-4 business days* after processing date.
- Items shipped FedEx Freight will take 3-5 business days* after processing date
