This specific figure depicts a woman engaged in the rhythmic, essential task of pounding grain with a mortar and pestle—a powerful symbol of life, sustenance, and the central role of women in West African society. Hand-carved from a single, heavy block of dense tropical hardwood, the figure exhibits the refined aesthetics for which the Baule are world-renowned. 2. FOR RANGES, COOKTOP, DROP-INS, DISHWASHERS AND REFRIGERATORS - FedEx Freight is used for delivery. FedEx will call to arrange a specific delivery time and you will have to arrange to be at the ship to address to accept the product. FedEx will not deliver the product in the premise.
We do not ship to PO Boxes.
Fedex Freight delivers the product curb-side only and arrangements to move the product inside the premise will have to be made by the customer.
Full insurance is included in all shipments. Tracking number(s) will be provided by the email supplied 1-2 business days* after the date of the order is placed and after which: - Items shipped FedEx Ground will take 2-4 business days* after processing date. - Items shipped FedEx Freight will take 3-5 business days* after processing date
